Metrology Supervisor
Join our Operations team as a Metrology Supervisor, where you will deliver the execution of the calibration strategy. This includes the development, implementation, review, and/or approval of calibration procedures, policies, work instructions, forms, instrument classifications and specifications in compliance with vendor information, process/equipment requirements, company procedures, relevant industry guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
The Metrology Supervisor, you will play a meaningful role in asset & equipment management and people management. You will assist in the qualification of the computerized calibration management system and ensure the system is maintained through change control in a qualified state. You will also ensure that instrumentation is appropriate for the intended use and remains in a calibrated state during GMP use. In addition to this, you will maintain ethical conduct and compliance, optimizing performance outcomes of your team and ensuring individuals understand the contribution they make.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Associate Degree in Electronics Field
- More than 7 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Biologics or similar manufacturing operation
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Metrology Lead > 3 to 5 years
- Knowledge of GMP instrumentation, automation, equipment design, operation and maintenance
- Experience managing technical personnel
- Budgetary development and management or supervision experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Field
- Automation experience
